Marc Cucurella, the Getafe player on loan from Barcelona, could stay on at the Madrid based club. 'Los Azulones' have the option to permanently buy the footballer and it lookds like they will use it. 'Mundo Deportivo' says that although there has been talk of Barcelona calling him back, they have no plans to do so.

We still do not know what will be of Cucurella next season. Most of Europe have got their eyes on him.

The defender is on loan at Getafe. The Madrid based side are thinking of keeping the player and they can do so if they pay them six million euros.

In recent days, there was speculation over the possibility of Barcelona finding a place for Cucurella in their team. However, 'Mundo Deportivo' denies that is going to happen.

This media outlet states that, at least at the moment, Barca have no plans to bring back Cucurella. They would rather Getafe kept him.

If in the future Getafe decided to sell Cucurella, Barca would get 40% of the fee. An option which, according to 'Mundo Deportivo', the club consider to be much better than that of the defender returning.

Teams like Napoli, Inter and Roma are following Cucurella closely. Getafe will fight to keep one of their most important players.
