Barca note Gonzalo Villar on their agenda
Barcelona, according to information from 'Il Corriere dello Sport', have reportedly set their sights on Gonzalo Villar, Roma player who is proving to be very pleasing despite only being a year at the club.
All of the attention is on the Champions League at the Camp Nou. Barcelona return to the competition and the knockout tie against PSG is the maximum priority. But, albeit out of the corner of their eye, they are already looking ahead to the upcoming summer transfer window.
According to 'Il Corriere dello Sport', Barcelona are reportedly after Gonzalo Villar. He is a young Spanish player at Roma, the team he joined last January from Elche for some 5 million euros.
The 22-year-old midfielder saw how COVID-19 complicated and delayed his arrival in Italy, but he overcame everything and has been making a place for himself in Paulo Fonseca's line-up.
This season, he now has 27 appearances and has started 19 matches, with a total of 1572 minutes. He has managed one assist and the praise of his coach and team-mates in the midst of his rise to one of Serie A's biggest clubs.
