Tagliafico is back on Barca's radar. Just before the transfer market opened last season, sources close to the football told 'BeSoccer' that they were in contact with Barca to see whether they were interested in his signing. 'Mundo Deportivo' reports that it is a reality they now want.
This sources points out that Barca have included him in their list of targets for next season. The reason is that he could serve as a replacement for Junior Firpo who is not fully convincing Barcelona with his peformances.
His market value is 41.1 million euros and his contract runs until 2022, so it would be an important investment for the board led by Bartomeu. They are focussed on the signing of Lautaro and renewal of Messi.
In addition, his possible sale could lead to a bidding war. Chelsea also want the Argentine and as Ajax could ask for more money if this occurs, his price could sky rocket. That would leave Barca with other priorities.
