Roony Bardghji has arrived in Barcelona to complete his move from Copenhagen and join the first team's pre-season. The Swedish winger becomes Barça's second summer signing after goalkeeper Joan García.

Roony Bardghji, the 19-year-old forward, arrived in Barcelona this Friday to complete his move to the Blaugrana and will begin working under Hansi Flick on Monday as pre-season kicks off.

Born in Kuwait and holding Swedish nationality, Bardghji joins from FC Copenhagen for a reported €2.5 million fee. A left-footed winger who typically plays on the right, he is known for his flair and dribbling skills.

"Yes, I'm very happy", the young attacker told Sport shortly after landing in the Catalan capital. He is set to undergo his medical on Sunday alongside the rest of the squad and will look to impress Flick in the coming weeks.

A Swedish U21 international, Bardghji is expected to take part in the club's pre-season tour of Asia, giving the new manager a chance to evaluate his potential.

If he proves himself, the winger — who turns 20 in November — could serve as a backup to Lamine Yamal in the first team. Otherwise, the club may look to send him out on loan to gain experience.

Bardghji becomes Barcelona's second signing of the summer following the arrival of goalkeeper Joan García from Espanyol via his release clause.
