FC Barcelona are hoping that, as has been rumoured lately, Aston Villa will sell Philippe Coutinho. 'Sport' explains that, should they sell him for 30 million, the Spanish side would add five to their coffers.
Philippe Coutinho does not have a place in Unai Emery's plan. Aston Villa are considering a move for him in the winter transfer window. If a good offer arrives for him, he could leave the English club, according to 'the Mirror'.
Despite the fact that Coutinho no longer belongs to FC Barcelona, the Spaniards are very aware of his situation. And, as this same newspaper reports, the club have reserved a percentage of a future transfer of the player.
The Catalan giants have done the maths thinking about this possible transfer for Coutinho. If Aston Villa sell him for 30 million, explains 'Sport' in relation to this news from the 'Mirror', Barcelona would earn five million.
Coutinho is not having a good time at all. Injury once again got in the way and he missed the World Cup in Qatar. Former Aston Villa boss Gerrard had the Brazilian as one of his key players, but it seems Unai Emery has other plans for the former Barca man.
