Dutchman Patrick Kluivert spoke to 'Mundo Deportivo' and talked, among other things, about the role of Xavi Hernandez at FC Barcelona. The former player believes that the club will return to where they were before.

One of the news stories of the year has been Mbappe's continuity at PSG until 2025. The Parisian side announced the good news almost a week ago, which came as a shock to Madrid.

Patrick Kluivert, a player who has left his mark at Barcelona, spoke to 'Mundo Deportivo' and openly assured that he believes the French player will win the prestigious Ballon d'Or.

"Mbappé is one of the best players there is at the moment. I congratulate him on his recent renewal with Paris. I think he will win the Ballon d'Or very soon.

Meanwhile, Kluivert spoke about Xavi's role at Barça. "Next season he will have a great chance to improve the team, I have a lot of faith in him. The club has very good young players who know the values of the club. I'm confident that Barça will return to where they were", he said.

Finally, the former footballer regretted the defeat of the women's team in the Champions League final. "The difference between La Liga and the Champions League is very big when it comes to competing.... I hope that La Liga will be more competitive so that there is not such a big difference", he concluded.
