Reports in Spain claim that Barcelona have agreed personal terms with Liverpool playmaker Philippe Coutinho.

Catalan Radio station RAC1 reports that the 25-year-old has agreed the terms of a move to the Catalan giants, meaning that the only obstacle to a move is the two clubs agreeing a fee.

Barca officials have been working hard in the background to bring the player in in recent days, with all the focus on a potential outgoing: that of Neymar Jr.

English publication 'The Daily Mail' reports that Barcelona officials travelled to London on Tuesday to meet with the player's representatives.

The same source also reports that part of Neymar's unhappiness in Catalonia is down to the lack of fellow Brazilians, hence the player's very public endorsement of Coutinho last season.

As soon as a fee is agreed between the two sides the deal is expected to move quickly, with several sources both in England and Spain suggesting that Liverpool would be prepared to do business at around the €80m mark. Though it is understood that Barca fear that Jurgen Klopp's side will insist on nearer €100m.

Despite Liverpool boss Klopp's recent claims that the Brazilian would be going nowhere and that Liverpool 'are not a selling club', every player has his price and with the likes of Mohamed Salah, Sadio Mane, Adam Lallana and Roberto Firmino among others to call upon, the 'Reds' aren't short of options in attacking areas.

Coutinho only signed a new 5-year contract with the club last season and his departure will come as a significant blow to the Merseysiders.

Between this and the rumours that Neymar is set to stay at Barca, perhaps the good friends could be lining up alongside each other at the Camp Nou next season afterall.
