Balotelli a 'mistake' for Liverpool
The Former Liverpool vice-captain, Jamie Carragher, has told the British press who he believes are Liverpool's worst-ever signings.
In a Q&A with the Daily Mail Carragher was asked who is Liverpool's worst-ever signing and he was quick to reply Mario Balotelli, followed by Hadji Diouf and Alberto Aquilani.
Balotelli joined the club in 2014 in a £16 million deal and he only scored four goals in a total of 28 appearances during his first season at Anfield.
Carragher told the Daily Mail, “I can't believe we signed Mario Balotelli! The thing with Balotelli is everyone always says it's the off-the-field antics, but I wouldn't care if he was doing it on the pitch. People tell me he's got talent but I can't remember him having a good game."
