Bale to stay until 2022 at Real
Good news for all the Real Madrid fans! Gareth Bale and his club have agreed on a new contract.
Bale's current contract runs until summer 2019 but the Welshman decided to extend it and stay longer. The Spanish media have confirmed today that the two sides agreed on an extension until 2022.
Furthermore they will establish an elevated release clause which will make his departure impossible. The other clubs which would like to sign him will need to pay around €500 million for Bale.
Real Madrid are about to announce within the next few days more contract extensions of players like Cristiano Ronaldo and Luka Modric.
