After his recent injury woes, Gareth Bale has been handed a boost as he expects to be back before December's 'El Clasico' at the Bernabeu, as well as the Club World Cup.

The Wales international was diagnosed with a slight tear in the adductor muscle in his left leg last week, during his recovery from another injury he suffered towards the end of September.

The recovery time for such an injury could be up to six weeks, and it was feared that Bale could be out of action until the new year.

However, according to the 'Daily Mail', the injury is responding well and he should be back before December, meaning he will be in contention when Real Madrid travel to Abu Dhabi to play in the Club World Cup.

The 28-year-old would also be available to face arch rivals Barcelona on December 23, a game which could hold huge important if Los Blancos want to catch the current league leaders.
