Gareth Bale is fully focused on Wales. Before the match against Ukraine he was asked about his next destination, as his contract with Madrid expires on 30th June and both parties have confirmed that they will not continue hand in hand. He said that he is not thinking of retiring, at least for the moment, and that he is not the least bit worried about his future, as he has more than one offer on the table.

Bale wants to play in the World Cup in Qatar. To do so, in the play-offs, Wales will have to beat Ukraine, their opponents on Sunday.

Before the match, Bale went to the press conference. The Welshman spoke about absolutely everything. He made it clear, first of all, that he will not hang up his boots.

For Bale, his future is now the least important thing. "I'm not focused on what the future holds. I don't need to think or worry about that," he stressed.

Bale was asked if he had received any offers and he made it clear that he has a full table. "I've got plenty!" he said in statements reported by the 'Mirror'.

Finally, he bemoaned the images of the war coming in daily from Ukraine, his play-off rivals. "Just seeing the pictures and reading what's going on is heartbreaking," he said.
