Alejandro Balde published on Instagram an emotional message about the injury which will keep him out for between 6 and 7 weeks: "Thanks to God it was less than thought. Now is time to recover well and come back stronger than ever".
Alejandro Balde was replaced after 14 minutes against Mallorca after a tough challenge from Amath Ndiaye. The Barca full-back could not stand up and needed help to be able to leave the pitch.
Once the game had finished, the Barcelona medical team announced that the defender had suffered a partial break to his ankle, meaning he will be out for between six and seven weeks.
Faced with this situation, Balde took to social media to express his feelings about being injured and not being able to play in the upcoming Nations League with Spain, as well as the pre-season with his teammates in the United States.
