AC Milan have left Colombian striker Carlos Bacca out of the squad for their Europa League third round qualifier against Romanian side CSU Craiova on Thursday as they look to move the player on this summer.

Despite scoring 14 goals in 34 games in all competitions for Vincenzo Montella's side last season it appears that there is no future for Carlos Bacca at the San Siro.

The 30-year-old looks set to become the first high-profile casualty of Milan's massive summer spending after being left out of the squad for their Europa League qualifier.

The Colombian was also left out of the squad for Milan's 4-0 friendly victory over Bayern Munich in Shenzhen. When Montella was asked post-game why this was the case he replied: "I didn't play him because he won't play on Thursday."

"We did it in harmony, but it's clear that the choice is also due to future transfer market moves."

The former Sevilla man was heavily linked with a move to West Ham last season but it remians to be seen if they retain an interest in the player due to the imminent arrival of Javier Hernandez from Bayer Leverkusen.
