Andre Ayew made his return to Ligue 1 on Sunday, playing for Le Havre, and lasted just two minutes and 20 seconds on the pitch. The Ghanaian was sent off for stamping on a Nantes player as soon as he came on.

Andre Ayew made his shortest debut in the history of his professional football career. The Le Havre forward spent just two minutes and 20 seconds on the pitch before being sent off.

The Ghanaian joined the French side in November as a free agent and came on as a replacement for Loic Nego in the 65th minute, when the match was still goalless.

Just 145 seconds later, the 33-year-old  was sent off with a straight red card after stamping on Nantes centre-back Eray Comert's leg.

It was a somewhat disappointing debut for Ayew, who came to Ligue 1 in search of playing time in one of Europe's top leagues.
