The president of the Gabon football federation, Pierre Alain Mounguengui, has shown his honest opinion about what Aubameyang should do with his present and future: go to a club with more ambition than Arsenal.
Pierre Alain Mounguengui thinks that Aubameyang should be at another team that goes or can go further than Arsenal, as the Gunners have less ambition.
In an interview for 'ESPN', the president of the Gabonese FA was totally honest and doesn't see the striker ar the Emirates stadium for much longer.
"I don't want to say that Arsenal aren't ambitious, but they don't have as much as other clubs when it comes to Europe", he said.
Despite his 20 goals in 32 matches, Pierre Alain Mounguengui still doesn't think he has found his place in football.
"If Pierre managed to secure a contract with a more ambitious club, he would definitely find his place. On an individual level, we consider him to be among the best players in the world", he continued.
Mounguengui wanted to send a message to urge the player to keep working as he has been doing to attract the attention of said clubs he considers to be the best.
"My advice to him is to keep working and attract the attention of the best and most ambitious teams. Right now, he's at Arsenal and hasn't won anything, so it's a collective failure," he said.
