Julian Nagelsmann has once again lost faith in Benjamin Pavard. The German coach counted on the defender at the start of the season but his recent performances have made the coach not rely on him any longer.
Since his arrival at Bayern Munich, Julian Nagelsmann has done everything possible to keep Benjamin Pavard in his squad. The French defender played the first seven matches as starter, drawing two encounters and winning the remaining five.
However, his performances declined noticeably and the coach does not have faith in him. For that reason, the German side were thinking of renewing his contract, which expires in 2024, but they have changed their mind.
As a result, Atletico Madrid are targeting him, according to 'Sky Sport'. Diego Simeone is still interested in finding Nahuel Molina's replacement and he thinks that Pavard could be the best option. He could arrive in the next transfer window in January or the following summer.
