Atletico not interested in James
James Rodriguez's name has been linked with Atletico Madrid. 'Mundo Deportivo', however, assures that for the moment, Atletico are not considering signing him.
Atletico Madrid sources have confirmed to 'Mundo Deportivo' that James Rodriguez's name is not on the table. At least, not at the moment.
If more players left, Atletico would scour the market in search of possible reinforcements. That is where James could come into it...
But with the current squad, there are no plans to sign James. In addition, they understand that it would be practically impossible.
Atletico consider that Real Madrid, his parent club, would not agree to sell James. At the time he was an important signing for 'Los Blancos' and according to 'Mundo Deportivo', Atletico think that, for that reason, they would not negotiate his departure.
The Catalan paper take for granted that James will go to Napoli. According to 'Il Mattino', there is already an agreement between Real and the Italian club for the Colombian. That said, there is still nothing official.
