We take a look ahead to Saturday night's game between Atletico Madrid and Barcelona at the Wanda Metropolitano.

Atletico Madrid:

Filipe Luis and Lucas Hernandez should once again be available for selection after missing the goalless draw at Leganes before the international break but fellow defender Sime Vrsaljko is a doubt with a thigh injury. Kevin Gameiro, who almost joined Barca before moving to Atletico is expected to partner Antoine Griezmann up front for the hosts.

Barcelona:

Andres Iniesta and Luis Suarez should both start after shaking off niggles, with Barca and Uruguay deciding that Suarez's knee problem will not need surgery. Long-term absentees Ousmane Dembele and Rafinha are still sidelined with hamstring and knee injuries respectively. Lionel Messi will start despite his international exertions with Argentina, though who will play on the right is up for debate, with Aleix Vidal, Gerard Deulofeu and Sergi Roberto all vying to play alongside Messi and Suarez in attack.

Did you know?

Atletico Madrid have not beaten Barcelona in their last 14 games, a run that stretches back to February 2010.

Lionel Messi goes into the game having scored 27 goals in 34 games against 'Los Colchoneros'
