Atletico-Galatasaray friendly CANCELLED due to safety concerns
Atletico Madrid have cancelled their friendly with Galatasaray on Saturday due to safety concerns in Turkey.
The Spanish side were due to play their Turkish counterparts at the Turk Telecom Arena in Istanbul, but the Champions League runners-up have decided to cancel due to recent terror attacks and an attempted coup d'etat in the country.
Both sides both have a fortnight until the start of the new season and will be hoping that pre-season preparations will not be scuppered due to the cancelled friendly match.
