Atletico could return to Puma for their shirt sponsor
In recent months there has been much speculation surrounding the future shirt sponsor of the Madrid side, with Puma the name currently being touted as the prime candidate to substitute Nike.
During the 1980's and 90's, Atletico Madrid were of course sporting Puma as their shirt sponsor.
However, Atletico since have been wearing Nike, although they could be returning back to Puma in the future.
There are many who are saying that Puma could return, although the German company have neither confirmed or denied the rumours.
"We never talk about rumours, but we are always looking for and evaluating opportunities in the market in order to be able to offer the best products and suggestions to our clients and consumers", said Javier Ortega, the company's director for Southern Europe, in 'EFE'.
