Atletico after Lazio forward Diao
The Champions League finalsits are the latest club to show an interest in the forward, who looks set to leave the Serie A side this summer.
Atletico Madrid have joined the race to sign unsettled Lazio striker Keita Balde Diao, according to AS.
Various clubs have been put on high alert after the 21-year-old failed to turn up for Lazio's pre-season training, later claiming that the Serie A side were treating him in an unacceptable manner.
The Senegal international's current deal with the club runs up until 2018, although they will now try to pocket around €22m for his services.
However, Diego Simeone's side face competition for Diao's signature, with the likes of Sevilla, Valencia and Monaco all understood to be interested in the player as well.
