Jese Rodriguez, former Real Madrid and PSG player and ex-teammate of Kylian Mbappe, revealed in an interview with 'El Chiringuito de Jugones' that he advised the French striker to join the Spanish side if his dream was to win the Ballon d'Or.

Jese Rodriguez has had a great professional career, which continues as a winger at Las Palmas, although he has had some great spells, such as those at Real Madrid and Paris Saint-Germain, where he shared a dressing room with big stars like Cristiano Ronaldo and Kylian Mbappe.

The Spanish winger gave an interview to “El Chiringuito de Jugones” in which he spoke about his relationship with Kylian Mbappe and how he experienced the rumours of a possible move by the French striker to the Santiago Bernabeu. In fact, Jese admitted that he recommended the French international to join the Spanish team if he wanted to be a favourite to win the Ballon d'Or.

"When I left PSG, Real Madrid wanted Mbappe, and he asked me, 'How's Madrid, how's the club?' I said, 'What's your dream?' and he replied, 'To win the Ballon d'Or.," he said.

"I told him, 'You have to join Real Madrid, you're not going to win the Ballon d'Or here.' He said, 'Okay'," he concluded.
