'Asensio will definitely be a Balon D'Or winner'
Before his team faces off against Real Madrid in the Champions League, Roma coach Eusebio Di Francesco spoke to 'AS' about the game and one of the opponent's young stars: Marco Asensio.
The Italian coach had a long-ranging interview with 'AS' about the upcmoing match on Wednesday, and spoke of how well the team have done in the wake of losing their manager and their star player in the same summer.
Despite the blow of losing Zidane and Cristiano Roanldo. the Roma manager does not expect the game to be any easier than had those two key figures satayed, especially based off the start 'Los Blancos' have had to the season.
“The results during the first few weeks of the season show that they are still strong,” “Under Lopetegui, I see a team who are more consistent with greater organisation."
The manager's atention then turned to the man who has been allowed to thrive since 'CR7' decided to leave for Juventus, and he had high praise for him indeed.
“Marco Asensio? I can see him winning the Ballon d’Or, his talent is incredible. I would love to have him, especially at his age. He has the ability to adapt to almost any attacking position”
