Former Sunderland striker Asamoah Gyan is currently in England and is considering a number of offers from Premier League and Championship clubs.

The Ghana international joined Sunderland six years ago, but stayed at the Stadium of Light for just one year and then joined Abu Dhabi football club, Al-Ain.

The move infuriated then-Sunderland manager Steve Bruce and Sunderland fans as they suggested that the move was motivated purely by money.

In his time on Wearside, Gyan played 37 times, scoring 11 goals. After four years at Al-Ain, Gyan moved onto Shanghai SIPG in the Chinese Super League where he has scored eight goals in 26 games.

Now, a number of English clubs are said to be interested in the Ghanaian, with Sunderland and Fulham keen on Gyan.

"I have a lot of options. Me and my agent are here to evaluate them and get the work done, and then I can continue doing what I do best, which is scoring goals and playing well," Gyan told 'Sky Sports News' ahead of a possible move.
