Flamengo and Chile player Arturo Vidal puts rivalries to one side to support his friend Leo Messi, and later on he congratulated the Argentina side for getting through to the semi-finals.
The midfielder watched the game on TV and used the opportunity to interact on social media. During the game, he posted two 'stories' on Instagram to support the South American side.
In the first post, Vidal recorded the TV screen while watching the reply of Messi's second half goal. This video was accompanied with the sentence: "Who other than you, out of this world".
After the The Netherlands-Argentina game, he uploaded a photo of the Argentine players. What is more, the image was accompanied with a "well done".
