The ex-Arsenal coach Arsene Wenger has been a visible presence at the World Cup in Russia, and could see his next job in the game at the helm of an international team.

The Frenchman has been much linked with Paris Saint-Germain, with the possibility of working in the capacity as a general manager for the French champions.

But as he attends a host of games at the World Cup in Russia, it could be a role as the head of a national team that is Wenger's next managerial challenge.

With the usual frenzy surrounding the 50% of teams that will exit the tournament at the group stage, it is quite possible that a coaching role could arise fairly soon should Wenger wish to take it.

The manager, who won 3 Premier League titles and 7 FA cups in his time with the Gunners, is also rumoured to be a front-runner for the top job of the French national side, should they faulter under Didier Deschamps's direction.
