Arsenal have been drawn against Ostersunds FK in the round of 32 of this year's Europa League. Unbelievably, the Swedish side were founded in October 1996, one month after Arsene Wenger arrived in North London.

The day Arsene Wenger arrived at Arsenal, his next opponent in the Europa League, Ostersunds, had not even been founded yet. That is one of the more striking stats thrown up by the Europa League draw on Monday afternoon.

Specifically, the Swedish outfit were born one month after Wenger joined the Gunners. The French coach signed his contract in September 1996, and one month later, Ostersunds were founded.

Unless there is a huge upset, Arsenal won't have too many problems advancing to the next round, given the relative inexperience of their opponent, as well as being able to count on a return leg at home at the Emirates Stadium.
