One of the bright talents in Europe is Mykhailo Mudryk, a 21 year-old footballer for Shakhtar Donetsk. When asked about his sale price, sporting director Carlo Nicolini remained tight-lipped, but Arsenal are reportedly in pole position to complete his signing.

Shakhtar Donetsk have in Mykhailo Mudryk a brand new talent. The 21 year-old footballer has several top European clubs after him like Real Madrid or Man City. This season, he has scored three goals and given two assists in seven matches.

However, Ukrainian sporting director Carlo Nicolini made it clear that his departure was not being contemplated: "We would not even call the president to tell him offer even if it were for 50 million euros. We think Mudryk is worth more than Antony of Man Utd, who cost 100 million.

"We aren't forced to sell. We don't want to talk about figures which aren't realistic. But in this team, he is the one who makes the most difference. If you want to sign certain players who make the difference at the best clubs, you also need the right amount of money," Nicolini added.

By the way, 'The Independent' reports that Arsenal are well in the lead to sign him and they have quickly resumed proceedings. Therefore, the Gunners could prepare an offer for the player.
