Gabriel Magalhaes has signed a new long-term contract with Arsenal, cementing his role as one of the team's defensive stalwarts.
The 27-year-old Brazilian defender joined from Lille in September 2020 and has since made 210 official appearances for the Gunners.
During this period, Gabriel has scored 19 goals, making him the highest-scoring defender in the Premier League since joining the club.
His consistent performances earned him a place in the PFA Team of the Year for the 2023/24 season.
The centre-back began his professional career at Avaí in Brazil before making the move to French football and then to England.
He has also had loan spells at Ligue 1 side Troyes and Dinamo Zagreb, where he achieved a domestic double in the 2017/18 campaign.
Since his goalscoring debut against Fulham at the start of the 2020/21 season, Gabriel has been an attacking threat from set-pieces.
