Arsenal monitor Le Havre's Moukoudi

Arsenal have Le Havre centre-back Harold Moukoudi on their radar as Arsene Wenger looks to bolster his defensive options, according to the 'Daily Mail'.

Moukoudi, 19, has been capped for France at U18 level and is backed to be the latest star to emerge from Le Havre's academy, following in the footsteps of Dimitri Payet and Paul Pogba. 

The centre-back has made nine appearances for the Ligue 2 side this season, and is 6ft 3in, powerful and composed on the ball.

Le Havre are reportedly aware of the interest in their young defender and are willing to sell him in January on the condition that he returns to the club on loan so he can help them gain promotion to Ligue 1. 

With Arsenal captain Per Mertesacker retiring at the end of the season, Wenger is looking bolster his defensive ranks.
