Arsenal are in search of a defender in the market. In England, they assure that it is Matthias Ginter that they like most at the Emirates. His contract at Borussia Mönchengladbach expires in 2021.

With Mikel Arteta at the helm, Arsenal plan to shape a long-term project which allows them to fight for big targets in the future. To this end, they have already begun to draw up the squad for next season.

Beyond the departures, which includes the possible exit of Matteo Guendouzi, the Gunners have set their sights on Germany to strengthen the defence.

According to the 'Daily Mail', the chosen one by the English side would be Matthias Ginter from Borussia Mönchengladbach, whose contract expires in just less than a year.

At 26, Ginter played a total of 36 matches this season, starting all of them. With extensive experience already playing for Freiburg, Borussia Dortmund, and Gladbach, Arsenal see the perfect moment for him to arrive in the Premier League.
