Mykhaylo Mudryk looks set to join Chelsea. Arsenal's favourites to boost their attack have therefore been forced to look for another player and, according to the 'London Evening Standard', have considered Barcelona winger Raphinha.

The Emirates Stadium side are looking for reinforcements. Mikel Arteta is interested in signing a winger to help the team up front and, until recently, he had his favourite: Shakhtar's Mudryk.

The problem is that the Gunners target is about to close the door for good. Mudryk, according to the latest reports, has an agreement with Chelsea. That is why the club is searching in the market for other options.

The 'London Evening Standard' claims that Arsenal have found another winger to their liking at Barca. Raphinha, a player they tried to sign in the summer of 2022, but who slipped through their fingers then, as he ended up signing for the 'Cules'.

According to the aforementioned media, the Gunners' sporting director, Edu Gaspar, has contacted Deco, Raphinha's agent, to ask if he would be willing to move to the Premier League.

For the moment, Arsenal have only asked about Raphinha's situation. There is no firm proposal on the table from FC Barcelona. Edu Gaspar really likes Raphinha, so he is already making moves to try to sign him.

Barca paid 58 million plus seven million in variable payments for the winger, a figure that, if he is sold, the Catalan giants would like to recoup. The player perhaps expected a greater role in Xavi's ranks and has only made 22 appearances, 12 as a starter, a trump card that Arsenal could use to try to convince him.
