Arsenal are already thinking about next season with the Champions League in mind. 'The Sun' reported on Saturday a list of seven players Mikel Arteta would liked to get rid of as well as three more he's considering selling.

Arsenal are thinking about next season. With the Premier League title on the horizon, Mikel Arteta will be dreaming about keeping the Emirates Stadium's dreams alive in next seaon's Champions League.

The Spanish coach is thought to be preparing players to be leaving. According to 'The Sun' on Saturday, the Gunners are going to prioritise getting rid of seven players with another three to be decided upon later down the line.

Those concerned are Nicolas PepeNuno TavaresAlbert Sambi LokongaPablo MaríCedric SoaresAlex Runarsson and Ainsley Maitland-Niles. What's more, the three who could be affected later are Kieran TierneyRob Holding and Folarin Balogun.

As for those they're planning on getting in, Martin Zubimendi rejected going there in an interview with 'Sport': "I told my agent that I didn't want to listen to any offer, and definitely not in January. When someone wants to stay at a club, the termination clause doesn't matter".

Therefore, Arsenal will be aiming to up the ante in their side's quality ahead of the 2023-24 season. Mikel Arteta has the chance to take the London club back to the top of European football.
