For some days now there has been talk of the possible existence of a clause with which Arsenal could break with Unai Emery in 2020. 'The Athletic' have denied it.

Arsenal hired Emery with the aim of getting to the Champions League next year and the team are still fighting in the League table, where they are currently third.

After a summer in which new and important faces finally arrived, at this stage of the season there are already rumours that Arsenal could part with Unai Emery in 2020.

This would be due to a clause in his contract, but the newspaper 'The Athletic' has denied this, arguing that this movement would not be possible on Arsenal's part.

What the former Sevilla coach has signed is a contractual agreement for the next three years, this means that he will stay at the club until 30th June 2021.
