Arsenal closing in on Franck Kessié
AC Milan midfielder, Franck Kessié, is one of Mikel Arteta's firm targets in the winter market. Arsenal have been closing in on the 23-year-old in the last few hours.
According to information from 'The London Evening Standard', in the last few hours Arsenal have picked up their interest in Milan player Franck Kessié. The deal could be one of the few that Arsenal get done in this transfer window.
Arteta is the architect of the board's insistence on carrying out the deal. It is not clear if they will loan him or buy him, although Arsenal's budget isn't a lot these days.
However, Arsenal will have to fiend off interest from one of their neighbours, West Ham, another of the clubs firmly interested in signing the powerful Ivorian midfielder.
At the San Siro they are expecting the player's exit. Not in vain, now they seem to have decided who they want to be his replacement.
