Re-live Arsenal's 0-0 draw with Middlesbrough in the ninth round of Premier League fixtures.

FULL-TIME: Arsenal 0-0 Middlesbrough

Arsenal can't find a way past Middlesbrough who defended excellently. A draw is probably a fair result given the amount of chances Boro managed to create against the Gunners.

Arsenal have goal disallowed

Arsenal think they've snatched a late winner but Mesut Ozil was clearly offside as he turns in Oxlade-Chamberlain's wayward shot.

Negredo off, Stuani on

Alvaro Negredo's game is over as he's replaced by Cristhian Stuani in the second of five minutes added time.

Five minutes added time

There will be five minutes of extra-time. Will there be a winner in this one?

Koscielny stops Negredo with excellent tackle

Middlesbrough break with the rapid Traore who plays in Negredo. Just when the Spaniard was going to pull the trigger, the Frenchman makes a brilliant tackle to stop the former City man.

Ramirez off, Downing on

Gaston Ramirez leaves the field after an excellent display. He's replaced by Stewart Downing.

Middlesbrough are camped in their own half

With less than 10 minutes to go, it's wave after wave of Arsenal attack but Boro are holding firm at the back.

Elneny off, Oxlade-Chamberlain on

Arsene Wenger makes his second substitution of the game and it's an attacking one. Elneny leaves the field to be replaced by Oxlade-Chamberlain.

Iwobi off, Perez on

With just over 20 minutes to go, Arsenal bring off Alex Iwobi and Lucas Perez enters the field.

Sanchez's weak effort saved by Valdes

Sanchez is played in by Theo Walcott but Sanchez strikes his shot poorly. Victor Valdes gets down well to save.

Yellow card for Mustafi

Mustafi cynically brings down Gaston Ramirez who gets the better of the German.

Another brilliant save from Cech

Traore breaks from his own half with blistering pace and enters the Arsenal area. He strikes his effort well but Cech is equal to it an parries behind.

Brilliant save from Valdes

Sanchez has another effort from just outside the box and Valdes just gets a¡his left hand to the ball at full-stretch. Arsenal have started the second half brightly.

Sanchez shoots just wide

The Chilean forward gets his free-kick up and over the wall but curls his effort just wide. Valdes looked to have it covered.

Valdes almost gifts Arsenal a goal

A cross comes in from the right which is flapped at by Victor Valdes, Sancez hooks it across goal and Koscielny just can't get on the end of it. It would have been a certain goal if he'd have got there.

Second half underway

Alvaro Negredo gets the second half started for Middlesbrough

HALF-TIME: Arsenal 0-0 Middlesbrough

It's all square at half-time at the Emirates. Arsenal are lucky to still be level and have Petr Cech to thank. The Gunners have dominated possession but the best chances have fallen to the away side who have tested Cech on a number of occasions and also hit the woodwork.

Mustafi looks in pain

The German defender appears to have picked up an ankle injury. He limps off but it looks like he may be okay to continue.

Cech produces another brilliant save

The ball bounces to Gaston Ramirez within six yards but Cech saves the midfielder's header from close range.

Valdes makes a good save

Alexis Sanchez hits his free-kick well, but his former Barcelona team-mate Victor Valdes prevents the ball flying in the top corner.

Ramirez hits the bar

The Uruguayan almost puts the visitors ahead with a wonderfully struck free-kick but unfortunately for Boro, he hits the bar. Arsenal have had most of the possession, but Boro have had the better chances.

Cech produces brilliant double-save

Traore steals the ball from Koscielny and goes one-on-one with Cech who saves and blocks the rebound from Negredo.

Arsenal have penalty appeal turned down

Ozil goes down in the box after some Arsenal win the ball in Middlesbrough's half. It looks like the right decision from the referee.

Elneny shoots wide from distance

Iwobi plays a ball back to Elneny but the midfielder fires his long-range effort wide of the goal. Middlesbrough are camped in their own half.

Ozil fires over

The man who scored a hat-trick midweek has a free-kick in a dangerous position but shoots comfortably over the bar. A bright start from Wenger's men.

Early pressure from Arsenal

It's all Arsenal in the first couple of minutes, but neither side has managed a clear-cut chance yet.

Match underway

Alexis Sanchez gets the match going for Arsenal. Who will get the three points today?

Cazorla misses out, Elneny comes in

Santi Cazorla sits this one out as he picked up a knock to his Achilles tendon against Ludogorets in the Champions League. Mohamed Elneny comes in for the Spaniard.

Meanwhile for Middlesbrough, Karanka leaves a couple of big names on the bench. There's no place in the starting XI for Stewart Downing or Cristhian Stuani.
