In recent reports, Antony's ex-girlfriend Gabriela Cavallin has urged Manchester United to suspend him as the striker continues to be investigated for alleged domestic violence.
The Brazil star has been dropped from the national squad for World Cup qualifying games following the allegations by an ex-girlfriend and all eyes are on how the Old Trafford club will react.
Antony, 23, denied physically assaulting ex-girlfriend Gabriela Cavallin in a statement on Instagram, stating he was the "victim of false accusations."
The striker also gave an interview for Brazilian TV denying everything his ex-partner said publicly. In response, the renowned DJ decided to give an interview to the English outlet 'The Sun' and urged Manchester United to suspend him.
"Antony must be taken off the pitch. It's disappointing that he's still allowed to play while an investigation is underway. I'm absolutely devastated by this whole process. How can life go on as normal for him? They can't know what they know now and do nothing. He has to be suspended," she said.
