Anthony Martial the 'most valuable U-21 player' according to a study

A Soccerex study has calculated Manchester United and France striker Anthony Martial to be the most valuable footballer under the age of 21, valuing him at £39.7m.

The 20-year-old signed for Manchester United for £36m las summer and according to the study, he is now worth £1.7m more than the price United bought him for. 

Schalke midfielder Leroy Sane is second on the list valued at £31.2m, while Bayern Munich and Portugal star Renato Sanches is supposedly worth £29.1m.

The highest valued Englishman is Tottenham midfielder Dele Alli who is the fourth most highly-valued footballer. 

The study takes into account the player's age, position, club, contract length, international caps, minutes played, goals, injuries and technical ability.
