After being out injured for almost two months, Dani Carvajal returned last week playing in games and Villarreal and Inter Milan. He put in very good performances in both, but he was been forced to take a break this Friday. Real Madrid's medical report indicates that he has got a muscle injury in his right adductor.
Dani Carvajal was the main man absent from Real Madrid training this Friday. Karim Benzema did not train either. The right back was out with muscle problems so he did work individually. He only went onto the pitch for the final part of the session.
Finally, the medical report published by Real Madrid indicates that Carvajal has got a muscle injury to the short adductor. The club have not mentioned the grade of the injury or the expected recovery time.
This is another setback for the Real Madrid right back, just a week after coming back from two months out. He had a knee sprain on that occasion.
Carvajal then reappeared against Villarreal and he took no time in assisting Mariano for the 0-1 goal. This Wednesday he once again started in the 0-2 victory over Inter Milan at the San Siro.
Neither Carvajal or Real Madrid are getting lucky on the injury front. As Madrid are without Odriozola, whose recovery seems to have stalled, Zidane will have to move Nacho or Eder Militao to right back.
