Espanyol forward, Wu Lei, scored again in the La Liga match against Alavés. The last time he scored was more than 4 months ago, in February, when he netted against Sevilla on matchday 24.

Espanyol's Chinese winger Wu Lei scored against Alavés at the RCDE Stadium, his eighth goal of the season in all competitions.

The Asian player made the most of a thorough pass from Embarba to beat the goalkeeper Roberto and double their advantage. The winger's goal sentenced Alaves, who disappeared after the second goal.

Wu Lei is one of the regular players in the Espanyol lineup. The player has played 39 matches in all competitions, starting 24 of them. His adaptation to La Liga and his chemistry with the rest of the team is in an upward direction.

The club reproduced messages of support from the fans to the team on the scoreboard. Many of them were from Chinese fans, delighted with Wu Lei's move to La Liga.
