Rayo Vallecano pulled off a surprise at the Camp Nou after taking the lead in the seventh minute through Alvaro Garcia. Isi put in a through ball and the No18 brought the ball down to perfection and curled the shot inside Marc-Andre Ter Stegen's left-hand post.

Barcelona once again sowed doubts at the start of the game against Rayo Vallecano. Not even seven minutes had elapsed when Andoni Iraola's side took the lead.

A mismatch at the back saw Alvaro Garcia beat Dest to a long-range pass from Isi. The No18 controlled the ball to perfection, settled the ball and shot past Ter Stegen.

The ball went in off the left-hand post and the German keeper could not stop it. Rayo came out very well in the early stages of the game and sent the first one they had into the net.

Despite this, Barcelona were in control of the ball and had already had some approaches to the goal defended by Dimitrievski. In the first leg, the Madrid side had already taken all three points. It's up to Xavi's side to row.
