Algerian international midfielder Saphir Taider has rejoined Bologna on a two-year loan from Serie A rivals Inter Milan, Bologna announced on Monday.
Taider, 23, played 48 games for Bologna between 2011 and 2013 before joining Inter where, after a season, he was initially loaned for a year to Premier League Southampton in exchange for controversial Italian international Dani Osvaldo.
But the English club terminated the deal after three weeks on the grounds that Taider did not match the commitment demanded by manager Ronald Koeman's work ethic. He spent the rest of last season on loan with Sassuolo.
