There's good and bad news for Bayern Munich going into their Champions League semi-final second leg against Real Madrid on Tuesday. Defender David Alaba has overcome his fitness woes to make the trip to Spain but winger Arjen Robben has been left at home.

Bayern have revealed the 20 players making the trip to the Bernabeu on Tuesday as they look to overturn a 2-1 deficit to progress to the final on May 26.

In a massive boost for the Bavarian club, both David Alaba, who missed the first leg, and Javi Martinez, who had to withdraw half-way through, are fit and able to participate in the second fixture.

However, the same cannot be said for Arjen Robben who joins Manuel Neuer, Jerome Boateng, Arturo Vidal and Kingsley Coman on the list of players still sidelined with injury.

After scoring in his first-team debut in the Budesliga at the weekend, there's a place for Niklas Dorsch in the squad, though, along with fellow youngster Lukas Mai, who signed his first professional contract with the club last week.

The complete squad list is as follows:

Goalkeepers: Sven Ulreich, Tom Starke, Christian Fruchtl.

Defenders: David Alaba, Juan Bernat, Rafinha, Mats Hummels, Joshua Kimmich, Lukas Mai, Niklas Sule.

Midfielders: Thiago Alcantara, Franck Ribery, Javi Martinez, James Rodriguez, Niklas Dorsch, Sebastian Rudy, Meritan Shabani,  Corentin Tolisso.

Forwards: Sandro Wagner, Robert Lewandowski, Thomas Muller.
