Since Cristiano Ronaldo decided to leave Manchester United for Al Nassr, there has been an exodus of football stars to the Saudi Pro League, including names such as Neymar, Karim Benzema, Kante, and other great players.
The next big signing for Saudi football looks set to be Darwin Nunez, who has been looking for a new destination since the summer transfer window opened, seeking a place where he can play a more important role than at Liverpool.
According to Fabrizio Romano, Inzaghi's team has reached a verbal agreement on the terms of Nunez's transfer with Liverpool, although the Saudi club has yet to agree on personal terms with the Uruguayan striker, so the transfer depends on the former Benfica player.
For his part, Nunez would leave Liverpool, a club he never managed to adapt to despite the high expectations placed on him after the club paid around £70 million for him.
As a result, the Uruguayan striker would leave Anfield having made 143 appearances over three seasons, only 76 of which were as a starter, scoring 40 goals and providing 23 assists.
