Galatasaray drew 1-1 against Randers in a Europa League play-off first leg. Aktürkoglu scored a sensational goal which once again proves he is a key player. Radamel Falcao made his European debut for this season and the team got an importnaty first leg.
Even though the away goals rule no longer applies in UEFA competitions, Galatasaray got a 1-1 draw in the Europa League play-off first leg tie against Randers. It will be all to play for in their home stadium in front of their fans.
In Denmark, Akturkoglu showed once again that he is a fundamental player and he scored a superb goal while Radamel Falcao, one of the most reconised faces of the squad, played his first game in Europe this season.
However, Galatasaray were not good in some moments of the clash. Especially in the second half when the hosts levelled thanks to a great strike by Lauenborg. Much before that, with the score at 0-0, Fatih Terim's men could have scored a goal to calm early nerves, but they missed a clear opportunity.
At the other end, Galatasaray keeper Muslera made a mistake from a goal kick and he had to redeem himself to make a fine save. In any case, the game ended 1-1 and Galatasaray are favourites to progress to the Europa League group stage.
