Manchester United winger Adnan Januzaj has requested a permanent move away from the club, going against Mourinho's wishes to send the player out on loan.

Januzaj got off to a flying start with Manchester United in 2013 under David Moyes, scoring two goals against Sunderland on his first start in the Premier League.

However, Januzaj struggled to play under former boss Louis Van Gaal and was eventually sent out on loan to Borussia Dortmund where the now 21-year-old failed to impress.

Despite a disappointing couple of years, the Belgian is still highly-rated and Manchester United still see a future for the player at Old Trafford. This means that Mourinho's ideal scenario would be to send the player out on loan for a season to gain first-team experience.

Unfortunately for Mourinho, Januzaj has asked to leave the club and start afresh elsewhere, so the 'Daily Mail' is reporting.

It is not known here Januzaj may possibly end up, but former Manchester United boss David Moyes is allegedly interested in signing the player with new club Sunderland.
