Karim Adeyemi made headlines in Germany. As reported by 'Bild', the player was not called up to the senior squad, although he was selected for the U 212 team. However, the striker resigned from the lower category and preferred to resume training with his team.

Germany's new era with Julian Nagelsmann at the helm is already a reality. Despite having already qualified for Euro 2024 as hosts, the 'Mannschaft' is moving on to their next friendly matches.

The former Bayern Munich man has named a new list of players for this new international break. Karim Adeyemi is missing from the squad, something that the Borussia Dortmund striker did not take kindly to.

According to 'Bild', the player was not called up to the national team, although he was selected for the U21s. However, the former Salzburg player decided not to join the U21s and announced that he would return to training with his club.

This did not go down well with the German Football Association and could affect his chances of a call-up for next summer's European Championship. Antonio di Salvo, coach of the U21s, commented: "I have held talks with Karim and with the club. At the moment, he wants to stay at Borussia to achieve the goals he has set himself.
