'A Bola' says that Antonio Adam's contract at Sporting Lisbon will last two years with the option of a third. His possible arrival in the Portuguese League has been talked about for several weeks and the goalkeeper is about to put pen to paper and sign the contract.

Adan just has to sign the contract before he can start playing in Portugal. 'A Bola' reports that he will join Sporting for two years with the option of a third. It was no secret that these negotiations were taking place: there has been news about it for some time.

There will be no problems from Atletico Madrid's side. Their goalkeeper's contract ended and he will go to Portuguese club for free. His objective is to get some game time. He has struggled to play regularly for the last two years. Since he joined Atletico, he has been the number two keeper.

This move will be the Spaniard's first ever time in the Portuguese League. He came through the Real Madrid academy and was also at Cagliari and Betis. However, apart from the season in Serie A, he has never been outside of Spain.

Sporting Lisbon will save slightly less than one million euros if these move is completed. Adan's market value is 953,000 euros, but Sporting will get him for free. Will he once again play regularly in Portugal?
