Sunderland's Adam Johnson will not play in Saturday's match against Manchester United.

Johnson will not be playing against Manchester United on Saturday after pleading guilty to kissing an under-aged school girl after grooming her on the internet. However, the 28-year-old midfield denies two other counts of sexual activity with a child and next due in court on Friday.

Johnson was suspended from Sunderland on the 2nd of March following his arrest, however, it was then lifted when his bail was extended by five weeks, two weeks later.

The footballer has played in 20 games for Sunderland this season and manager Sam Allardyce will be mentioning Johnson at a press conference this Thursday.
