Simon Kjaer looks very likely to stay in Serie A for a long time. 'Tuttosport' says that AC Milan have decided they will activate his buyout clause which lasts 2.5 million euros. He currently plays on loan from Sevilla.

Kjaer could finally stay at AC Milan. 'TuttoSport' says that the board have decided to activate the 2.5 million euros buyout clause to keep him. Even though he is not one of the most important members of the squad, his performances have satisfied those in charge.

This means a change of opinion. In the past, the Rossoneri were considering letting him leave to carry out a revolution. This seems to have been left behind because now the footballer have a lot of possibilities of staying in the Italian side.

He has managed to convince those in charge of making the decision quickly. This season, he has played seven matches and he has started all of them. He has not played for nearly a month, but it seems like his work on the pitch has been enough despite his limited number of appearances.

The Dane's first time in Serie A was in the 2011-12 campaign when he joined Roma from Wolfsburg. He has also been at Lille, Fenerbahce, Sevilla and Atalanta. His parent club are Sevilla and they would receive 2.5 million euros if AC Milan buy him off them.
